(Somewhat of a) Biography
Eugenia is an Austro-Bulgarian philosopher and scholar of technology and media.
Her work is shaped by many things, like migration, curiosity for people and technology (in that order), her father's obsession with Michel de Montaigne, her mother's socialist thinking, and her grandfather's political and personal commitment to democracy. Equally, she feels very lucky to have encountered various kindnesses and sparks from colleagues and friends along the way.
As an eternal migrant and language floater, she lives and thinks trilingually (Bulgarian, German, and English), but she would love to practise her rusty Italian and French more often.Â
